For the global marketing and sales team in the Animal Health & Nutrition Business Unit, we are looking for a Director of Sales and Marketing for Europe. Your base will be at our head office in Hørsholm, Denmark. You will report to the Vice President based in Denmark who has the global responsibility for the Animal Health & Nutrition Business Unit.
Animal Health & Nutrition Business Unit is responsible for the development, marketing and sales of innovative and documented microbial products for the feed industry i.e. BioPlus® 2B, GalliPro® and Biomax®. We are 40 colleagues in our Business unit and have our own sales & marketing organizations in North America, South America and in Europe. It is our goal to be the preferred partner and market leader in the segments where we are active. Your tasks

Lead the Animal Health & Nutrition Sales & Marketing team in the European region covering EU27 as well as Eastern Europe
You have direct sales responsibility for selected key accounts and show the way
Development of an efficient relationship with distributors is an important part of your job
Through your participation in the Global Leadership Team you will influence, develop and implement  our strategies
You develop and implement the regional marketing plan in cooperation with the Global Leadership Team and the Global Support Team
You identify needs in the market for products and services and come up with solutions
You initiate and coordinate sales and technical training for the European team and for distributors
You establish and maintain a consistent corporate image in line with our strategy

Personal profile

You hold a master degree in Agriculture/Nutrition and/or a background as Veterinarian/DVM with a proven track record of sales and marketing achievements in a B2B environment
You have 8-10 years of experience in the feed industry and/or feed additive industry and a minimum of 3 years of sales management experience as well as experience related to selling through distributors
You are fluent in both spoken and written English
You have good people management and interpersonal skills, you show both initiative and leadership, you are winning, creative, responsible and an excellent team player
Flexibility and willingness for extensive travel, mainly in Europe
