For our Nordic office, we look for
Accountant (m/f)(fulltime)
As Accountant, you are in charge of the bookkeeping and draof draft the annual accounts of a number of client companies (Danish and Swedish Holdings, etc.).
Your responsibilities:
• You will be in charge of the bookkeeping of a given number of dedicated files. You will prepare the accounting on the basis of the information contained in the file and provided by your colleagues;• You will support a senior accountant in providing the required information to auditors, banks and administrations. Furthermore, you be trained to discuss balance sheets with clients and will assist the account manager in accounting issues;• With support of a senior accountant, you identify issues which should be reflected in the accounts, identify documentation that is needed, either directly or for the purposes of the audit, and you initiate the handling of such issues and documentation;• Together with other colleagues, you attend client meetings.
Your profile:• Holder of at least a professional diploma in accounting, preferably you have some experience in a Trust, audit or law firm or financial institution during your studies. During this experience, you have learnt to read and understand balance sheets and prepare corprate annual accounts;• You have good working knowledge of the English language;• Rigourous and very well organised;• Used to working in a team, you have good social and presentation skills;• You are flexible and keen on continuously learning and improving your skills.
