 | Are you able to coach and develop a team of Product Managers while producing profitable results? Do you have solid experience with product portfolio management? And are you looking for some international challenges within a growth-oriented company? Then this job may be of interest.
We have recently reorganized our Corporate Marketing department and it now consists of three teams: Upstream Marketing team takes care of the identification of new market opportunities for our products and participates in cross-functional R&D projects. Downstream Marketing team takes care of campaigns and maintenance of the existing products and launch of new products. Promotion handles DTP assistance and sales affiliate support.
Your responsibility As our new Business Manager for Upstream Marketing, you will be heading a team of 6 Product Managers. You will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing.
Your main responsibilities are Product portfolio management To ensure pipeline value and participate in overall portfolio strategy. To make portfolio strategies and suggest annualised development plans for the complete product range in accordance with the overall portfolio direction for Ambu. Idea selection and Pre-jects To ensure that incoming ideas are evaluated and prioritised by the Upstream Marketing team. To drive the search for profitable ideas to assure an attractive pipeline. Organizational development To ensure the Upstream Marketing team is manned and qualified to meet objectives and to ensure a continuous development of the team.
In addition, an important objective is to contribute to the present inherent and efficient cooperation within Corporate Marketing and between Corporate Marketing and other departments and subsidiaries within Ambu A/S.
Your qualifications What characterises you personally is your keen sense of structure and a well-developed analytic and strategic mindset. In addition, you have a strong will to do things better than the competitors. You know how to operate in a global organization and is a natural manager with strong people management capabilities.
You probably have experience from a similar position within the medical device industry or have solid experience with portfolio management mixed with a strong knowledge about the industry. With regards to education, you either have a commercial background with a flair for and an interest in innovation and technology, or you are an engineer with solid business and marketing experience.
We require that you are fluent in English.
