Position
As research scientist in Experimental Immunology you will be involved in identifying immunological mechanisms behind the allergic sensitization of atopic individuals and in investigating the immunological basis for the effect of specific immunotherapy, particularly sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT). In Experimental Immunology we focus on mouse models as a means of mechanistic studies in whole organisms and on in-vitro- and translational aspects of human immunology. The current opening is primarily in the area of human immunology.
You will join a very strong and ambitious group of 14 highly qualified scientists and technicians. In addition to immunological research we also emphasize cross-organizational collaboration with regard to e.g. patenting, marketing and product development.
Field of responsibility
characterize human T-cell phenotypes (Th1/Th2/Treg/Th17)
investigate the involvement of different T-cell phenotypes in SLIT
perform FACS analyses and cell-sorting.
Your qualifications
hold a PhD in immunology or other related field areas
have 0-3 years post. doc. experience
are experienced in the use of FACS analyses and cell sorting
can work independently in a collaborative environment.
