Maersk Oil currently operates 48 platforms in the North Sea, all of which are covered with Health and Safety Reports. These reports are presented in accordance with company standards, procedures, and Danish legislation according to the administration by the Danish Energy Authority.
New or updated reports shall be conducted in connection with new projects. The reports are based on statistical material from international organizations as well as data gathered in Maersk Oil.
The Position:
The Risk Analysts will be part of the Engineering Department in Esbjerg, and will mainly work with technical safety. Co-operation with the production department, suppliers and specialists around the world as well as offshore visits will be part of the job.
Primary functions of the position include:
Specification of new risk assessments and updating of existing reports
Collection and analysis of statistical evidence
Project management of major risk assessments
Perform minor risk assessments
Participate in and possibly head HAZIDS on new projects.

The Candidate: The ideal candidate has an education at B. Sc. or M. Sc. level and has an interest in multi-discipline functions, focusing on technical disciplines. Furthermore, it is important to be able to work independently and to be proactive with focus on job and result.
Good proficiency in Danish and English, both written and verbally, is expected.
