Beskrivelse:For the Product Development department in Lunderskov we need a new Project Engineer (PE) for Structural Design. We are respectively 15 and 13 engineers and technicians in Denmark and the Netherlands who participate in cross functional design teams for new upcoming blades. We are part of the LM Glasfiber R&D organization which consists of app. 150 employees. Job description The primary objective of the PE is to secure a stable and cost efficient structural design of new LM Glasfiber blades within the given project time frame. The PE must in close cooperation with external and internal customers make the structural design of the blade according to the Blade Project Manual. The PE is fully responsible for the structural design which includes: · Definition of structural design of the blade in compliance with the technical blade specifications and relevant design specifications. · Verifying the compliance of the design with the requirements using FE calculations and in house design toolings. · Updating the structural model after validation · Enabling certification of the blade by complying the certification data package Required competences - Engineering degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, statics engineering, etc.) - Knowledge in manufacturing of glass fiber components is advantageous. - Knowledge in constructions & making design for manufacturing - Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken) Profile You are a self-employed person that can work in a structured manner with a team of specialists. You want to drive the implementation of new designs as well as improvements to the manufacturing of these. You feel comfortable with working at different levels in an international and fast growing company. The position will be based in Lunderskov close to Kolding.
