To further facilitate our ambitious growth plans, IT Systems is now hiring a Senior Systems Engineer/Architect (depending on your experience level) who will take active part in developing Saxo’s infrastructure to match future demand.The jobAs Senior Systems Engineer or Architect in Technical Projects, IT Systems, you will become an important player in the development of systems that handle the constantly growing flow of transactions. The fast growth and the fact that we are dealing with financial transactions put great demand on the underlying infrastructure in relation to scalability, redundancy, error tolerance and availability.Some of our core responsibilities in Technical Projects are listed below:• Global infrastructure design based on Microsoft technologies and carried over the Internet and/or MPLS.• Design of solutions that support globally distributed data center installations where all centers are actively supporting clients.• Design of solutions that support globally distributed branch offices - both rich and thin installations.• Design of solutions that make use of globally distributed database federations. • Capacity and availability management, following the ITIL framework. • 3'rd level support and complex trouble shootingWe work with technologies such as:• Microsoft Windows 2003R2 server with AD, DNS, DHCP, etc. in high availability/ resilience setups.• Microsoft Exchange server 2007.• Microsoft Sharepoint services.• Microsoft IIS 7.0.• iSCSI, NAS and SAN storage technologies in "clustered" environments, built for high resilience.Our software and systems development as well as project execution follows the SCRUM model.YouThe ideal candidate has worked professionally 5+ years with several of the above mentioned tasks and technologies. Besides that it is a prerequisite that you have good English skills as English is Saxo Bank’s corporate language.
