Simulation ExpertWe are seeking a Simulation Expert to the Electro-Mechanical Stream in Copenhagen which is one of the biggest R&D sites in Nokia. Our department develops and designs the user interface hardware to be used in our product development programs such as displays, cameras, illumination and input devices. We always strive to deliver world class solutions, both regarding innovativeness, customer understanding and quality. As Simulation Expert your main tasks will be:

Implementing, testing and optimizing cameras, displays, illumination and user interface solutions
Coordinating with both internal customers and external suppliers
Working closely with other teams such as Hardware,  Mechanics, Software and Sourcing
Simulating new and existing concepts to identify and prioritize possible problematic areas
Hands-on debugging and firefighting of EMC related problems

You should expect some traveling, approx. 10 days each year.RequirementsOur ideal candidate is holding a M.Sc or B.Sc in Electronic Engineering. Furthermore it would be an advantage if you have experience within the following areas:

Circuit modeling, simulation and optimization using e.g. Ansoft Designer, Agilent ADS or CST Microwave Studio
EMC design based on simulation
Hands-on-experience with debugging and firefighting
EMI near field radiation and immunity
3D electromagnetic field solver like Ansoft HFSS, CST Microwave or similar
Fluency in English, both orally and written

The job requires good analytical skills and a problem solving mindset. You will work very closely with other teams and you will be responsible for coordinating with both internal customers and external suppliers. Therefore the position requires excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality.You must be able to manage your work independently.
