As Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will participate in a variety of sourcing projects throughout the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group in different business units. The broad network throughout the group provides exciting challenges as well as excellent opportunities for career development.Participate in cross-functional sourcing teamsYou will be participating in cross-functional sourcing teams of approx. 3-4 persons that are formed on a project-by-project basis in order to ensure cost-saving and optimization opportunities that make a measurable difference to the bottom line. On each individual project you will participate in developing the appropriate sourcing strategy by:• Gathering and aggregating data to identify and understand cost drivers for relevant commodities.• Mapping spend data and elaborating Total Cost of Ownership models.• Cooperating closely with key internal stakeholders and lead buyers• Participating in negotiations of strategic commodities and servicesWith experience your next career step could be a project manager position within Strategic Sourcing with responsibility for running sourcing projects.Strong communicator with international mindsetIdeally you have a degree as cand.merc., MBA, M.Sc., HD or a similar and/or you have experience within procurement, finance, project management, sales or related areas. You possess good inter-personal communication skills that allow you to cooperate at all levels of the organisation as well as a strong analytical mindset and a drive to achieve commercial results. You enjoy taking responsibility and to be part of an international environment with constant change and contacts worldwide. Finally, you are fluent in written and spoken English.
