We are looking for a seasoned Instrument Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations team at Dako. Applying your excellent technical competence and interpersonal skills you will be the credible link between our R&D function, our product supply organization and our suppliers. You will be responsible for the complete instrument platform from a manufacturing and process care perspective working with various stakeholders internally and externally. Given the complexity of the position you will be joggling many issues comfortably. We offer wide frames for the accountable driver that manages to think holistically incorporating the entire product flow.This is a new position which offers plenty of opportunities to set the internal standards for instrument manufacturing and outsourcing processes. It is an international job residing in Glostrup, Denmark, with some but limited travelling.Your responsibilities:Responsibility for the complete instrument platform from a manufacturing and process care perspective Provide technical leadership on product and process issues Transferring products either from Development to Contract manufacturers or from a current manufacturer to another Participation in the phase review process related to new product development Assist and provide technical guidance on instrument manufacturability and serviceability Supporting our supply chain specialists with the technical competence required Intelligently discuss manufacturing/quality issues with our suppliers and find speedy solutions without disrupting on-going R&D projects Sign off responsibility of instrument transfer from R&D to Operations Liaison with QA and Engineering development both internally and externally Understand and comply with all the regulations governing the quality systemYour profile:Sc. degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or other relevant MSc. degree in engineering Minimum of 8 years of professional experience – not necessarily from the diagnostics industry Experience with specifying tests, documentation, validation an all other criteria for transferring the responsibility for instruments from R&D to production. Documented excellence in project management Strong analytical skills, creativity in terms of focus on finding solutions, as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure Trustworthy and utterly accountable An effective communicator at all levels, both internally and externally.
