You will enter Novo Nordisk's Device R&D department in Hillerød, Denmark, where currently 20 highly skilled software specialists join forces with hardware and mechanical engineers to develop a brand new electro-mechanical device for treating diabetes. You will play a leading role in the object oriented design, development and implementation in C++ of the hand-held device's software architecture. Design and implement life-saving software solutions
You will be one of the leading contributors to the software architecture as well as the technical and detailed software designs for the new device. Also, you will be responsible for implementing the software design through C++ in the embedded system.
Further, your job will involve specialist reviewing of code and design specifications, plus you will drive core development processes and coordination tasks as part of your senior developer role. You will work closely with the development team as well as external vendors, including e.g. test consultancies. Heavyweight developer with broad experience
You hold a relevant software development education paired with vast experience as a hands-on developer. Your broad experience includes working with embedded C++ systems and object oriented development, preferably in connection with safety critical products. Also, you need to know the ins and outs of unit testing and software integration testing.
On a personal level, you thrive on both team efforts and independent work, and you possess the open mindset required in a global, dynamic organisation with ever-occurring changes. Finally, you are a great oral and written communicator.
